New Agreement Allows IAFT Students to Transfer Credits to Schools Across the Globe
The International Academy of Film and Television (IAFT) is expanding its Diploma Programs with new articulation agreements with film schools in Australia and New Zealand. Allowing students to apply credits from IAFT to other programs, IAFT is working with the Sydney Film School in Australia and Natcoll and Whitireria Community Polytechnic in New Zealand. The agreements underscore IAFT’s commitment to providing a high-quality film education for the global entertainment market.
Under the terms of the agreements, graduates of IAFT’s Filmmaking Program can apply their diplomas towards the requirements for Advanced Diplomas at Sydney Film School and Natcoll, which can then be used to complete degree requirements for the University of Sydney in Australia and University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom, respectively. Students can also apply their IAFT diplomas directly to Whitireria Community Polytechnic Bachelor degree program as well.
“Empowering our students with flexible options when they graduate our program is one of the core goals of IAFT. Whether they choose to continue their education, or move directly into the entertainment industry, IAFT students can be confident that the school will support them in their endeavors.” said Keith Sensing, Executive Director, International Academy of Film and Television. “We’re proud to be affiliated with each of these outstanding institutions, which will allow our graduates to build upon the solid foundation IAFT provides.”
IAFT offers Diploma Programs in Filmmaking and Performing Arts, as well as Certificate Programs in Filmmaking, Performing Arts and Sound Design. The school also offers short-term workshops in specific subjects in all three disciplines throughout the year.
